"We were in the area at a local store and we asked where we should eat and two separate people actually recommended this place. Location worked great for us. When I walked in I absolutely loved the decor and vibe. It seems modern but yet still a throwback. My husband got the fish and chips and absolutely loved it. I got the open face egg salad sandwich. I usually don't like that type of bread but it was absolutely delicious. It tasted like it was homemade. We got the Italian coffee because it sounded delicious on the menu but it was a bit strong. I'm glad we tried this place out!"

"Great patio experience. Food was good, but the menu is a bit limited...I spent a lot of time looking it over and nothing really jumped out at me. Ended up with the appetizer sampler as my meal, which was a great decision. Shrimp cocktail, Szechuan green beans and Monte Carlo dry rub wings all were great. Service was good, though I had to ask for drink refills twice which was a bit irksome."

"Cocktails and wings, what else could you ask for!! Everyone recommended the dry rub wings, so we had to stop on for a try... glad we did! Wings were fantastic (we did half order), great flavor, juicy and good size. We ate at the bar and just love our bartender. A few cocktails later, I can't recommend this place more."

"Everything was so delicious at Monte Carlo! The New York strip steak was cooked a perfect medium rare, buttery and soft, the fries were delicious and served fresh, as well as the caesar salad. The drinks are delicious with a generous pour, a shaker on the side with some extra! It is such an inviting and cozy environment with extremely friendly and attentive service, would definitely recommend for a nice night out as well as a larger gathering."

"One of my favorite spots in Minneapolis! The vibe is sophisticated without being pretentious. The drinks are strong. The food is delicious. The star for me is chicken wings. Get them with extra seasoning and make sure you get enough to share for your group size because they are that good. The Szechuan green beans are amazing too. Pro-tip: If you get the blood orange martini the extra is served in the shaker, so it's like a bonus drink."

"A beautiful restaurant built in 1906 which is both a happening spot for happy hour as well as evening dinner with your loved one. We enjoyed the appetizer platter, the taste was unique and food was mouth watering. They have a good collection of wines and cocktails too, perfect to pair with your entrees. The dessert sundae was also superb. One less star for atmosphere because of the wobbly table we sat."
